Christmas with Guru

At Christmas time we always had a special function, with many beautiful Christmas carols. I believe Silent Night is one of Sri Chinmoy's favourites. It is about silence and peace. We sang it so many times during Guru's Christmas trips.

May all of us find silence and peace in our hearts.

Cumulus by Parichayaka Hammerl

7:17 minutes (6.96 MB)

The last few times I listened to a new song composed and performed by our dear friend Parichayaka Hammerl I ended up with tears for the beauty of the landscape he is able to evoke, feeling how small I am in comparison to the genius living in this vast world.

Published here is track number 2 from his coming album.

3:12 minutes (4.4 MB)

This is one of the magnificent songs that our dear friend Parichayaka, unbeknownst to anybody, secretly hand-crafts in the redolent sanctuary of Music. This piece is exceptional. Simplicity belying a mounting, beautiful aspiration to a sky of delight.

Listen to it. I am sure you will agree with me.

I am most grateful to Parichayaka for allowing me to publish it here.
